What happens during the initial consultation?
The initial 30-minute call is an informal conversation where we learn about your current role, the challenges you are facing and what you hope to achieve through coaching. We also explain our methodology, answer your questions and discuss potential programme structures. There is absolutely no obligation to proceed.
Can coaching sessions be conducted remotely?
Absolutely. While we offer in-person sessions at our Scotland office, the majority of our clients work with us via secure video conferencing. Remote coaching is equally effective and allows us to serve leaders across the UK and internationally with full flexibility.
How long does a typical coaching engagement last?
Most individual coaching programmes run for three to six months, with sessions every two weeks. However, we offer flexible arrangements to suit your needs, including shorter intensive programmes and longer-term advisory relationships. We discuss timing during the discovery phase and tailor the programme accordingly.
Is everything I share in coaching confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice. Everything discussed in coaching sessions remains between you and your coach. If your organisation is sponsoring the coaching, we agree on a clear confidentiality framework upfront, typically sharing only high-level themes and progress indicators with the sponsor — never specific content.
Do you work with organisations as well as individuals?
Yes, we partner with organisations of all sizes to provide coaching for their senior leaders and high-potential talent. We also offer team coaching, leadership development workshops and bespoke programmes designed in collaboration with HR and talent development teams.
